The building's history comes alive, though
the modern amenities were a pleasant surprise. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, and the breakfast options are fantastic. The only drawback was the hot water supply, which they are working to improve. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay in a charming room, and the water pressure in the shower was pure bliss! The menu was artistic, each bite an unforgettable delight. Perfect for foodies who appreciate local ingredients.
However, the tasty dinner was so filling, I nearly burst my fancy pants! Not to mention, a bit pricey for my wallet, darling.

Couples seeking culinary adventure
We had an fabulous time here,, especially when they went above and beyond to adjust the 10-course tasting menu for my wife’s dietary restrictions. The staff treated us like royalty,, even helping us plan our hikes for the next day with perfect timing and suggestions.
It wasn’t the cheapest meal I’ve had, but it was worth every penny.

great place with minor issues
The room was spacious,, and it was clean and comfortable for our family. We loved the modern bathroom, especially the large shower. The breakfast selection was excellent, with fresh options that we enjoyed every morning. The view of the garden added a peaceful touch to our stay, making it a pleasant escape.
While the overall experience was enjoyable, some amenities could use improvements.

The dining experience was truly exceptional (especially the vegan porridge! ). Great attention to detail from the staff and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Loved being able to sit out over the garden area by the river.
There could be clearer communication about dining availability (we had to drive for a light snack).

We stayed in the Superior Double or Twin Room with Garden View. The room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom that had a great shower. It was comfortable and decorated nicely, making it a cozy retreat. The garden view was a nice touch, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. It felt like a little slice of luxury, but I could’ve used a bit more convenient dining options nearby.

I chose to stay and felt welcomed. The staff went above and beyond, giving advice on local hikes. I had an amazing breakfast, which set a great tone for the day. The place had a beautiful design that enhanced my experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail throughout.
There were limited nearby dining options for those late-night cravings. I had to plan meals carefully due to the remoteness.
